Join the adventure with PB & Jellyfish — a vibrant team of young engineers from Savannah Lakes Elementary who are diving headfirst into underwater robotics and real-world environmental impact.

These exceptional 5th graders started their SeaPerch journey with curiosity, creativity, and a mission: to build an ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) capable of competing in the 2025 International SeaPerch Challenge. But their journey quickly became much more than just a competition.

Inspired by the year’s theme of coral reef restoration, PB & Jellyfish imagined a way to use their ROV beyond the pool. They designed and engineered a custom net attachment system to help collect floating debris in local lakes and waterways. After testing and perfecting their design, they took their ROV into the community, using it to remove trash and help restore the local ecosystem, one piece of debris at a time.

Their story is one of innovation, teamwork, and heart. From sketching ideas in their classroom to cleaning the waters of their neighborhood, these students are proving that age is no limit when it comes to making a real-world difference.
